Color = Golden colored pearls are in high demand today for their ability to appear like magical golden jewelry that is somehow shimmering with an unusual depth-of-color that is produced by the pearls natural opalescence on the very thick South Sea pearl nacre. When the color is a very deep golden tone such as found in this bracelet, the jewelry becomes very desirable among the most knowledgeable collectors.

Golden colored South Seas pearls were originally only worn by royalty who believed that their golden color would attract more riches.
